While every effort has been made to
reproduce these colors to represent the fabric and material of Bestop® products, an exact reproduction can not be guaranteed. Please remember
that a slight difference in the color you see on your monitor is not only possible, but probable.
Bestop® offers factory colors for
the years those colors were used by AMC/Chrysler. Prior to 1973 the only colors used for seats and tops were black and white. These colors had a
smooth crush grain look. The first denim colors were introduced for the CJ in 1974; blue and tan. In 1987 the Wrangler YJ was introduced featuring
the colors black crush and almond. 1988 saw the introduction of gray, sand, black denim and khaki, with black crush being discontinued. From 1992 to
1995 the color spice was added while sand, almond and khaki were discontinued. In 1997, Jeep® changed the body style of the Wrangler and the TJ
was born. Standard factory colors used on the TJ from 1997 to 1998 were black denim and spice with dark tan being added in 1999.
