In 1996 Teraflex®
introduced the first TJ Wrangler suspension capable of perfect ramp scores directly out of the box. Teraflex® takes pride in designing suspension
products to meet the needs of Jeep® owners expecting the most trail performace without sacrificing highway handling. TeraFlex's®
flexibility allows the suspension to articulate as it follows the contour of any obstacles. |
TERAFLEX® WARRANTY |
Tera
Manufacturing warrants TeraFlex products to the original retail purchaser to be free of defects in material and workmanship for as long as the
original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product was originally installed. Product finish, improperly installed, maintained or applied
products, or products used for racing or damaged due to abuse or neglect are not covered.
The customer is responsible for removing
the product from the vehicle and the cost of shipping the part to TeraFlex®. Tera Manufacturing will pay the return freight.
All returns must be accompanied by an original invoice.
FlexArms® are warranted from defects in material
and workmanship for the life of the vehicle from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. Failure to complete regular maintenance as described
in the product literature will void the warranty and all conditions of the standard Tera Manufacturing product warranty apply. |

TERAFLEX AXLES & LOW RANGE GEARS |
Teraflex replacement gear kits provide optimal rock crawling performance without the need for extensive labor or extreme customization. These gear sets do not require any modification of the vehicle's cross members, shift linkage or driveshaft.
Replace the native gearing in your Jeep® with gears that have been improved for off-road use by providing increased low-range reduction by about 50%.
The gear sets for the Dana #300, and #20 swap all five gears with improved low-range gears. The Dana #18 kit replaces four of the gears in the transfer case |
Low-Range Economics |
When evaluating your options for better crawl ratios, consider both the quality of the low-range and the economics of the solution.
The Teraflex Low231 and the Low300 provide about 50 percent more reduction than stock. That reduction means your Jeep will crawl 50 percent slower then it did without the low-range conversion. The 4.0:1 ratio means that in low range your Jeep will move 4 times slower then in high range. Teraflex low-range conversions give you extreme low-range control without affecting highway driving.
The economics of Teraflex low-range conversions are much greater than those of ring and pinion changes. Low ratios are better for off roading and rock crawling, but not highway performance. A Jeep® with a low ring and pinion ratio sacrifices engine life because the RPM's to maintain highway speeds must be much higher. This also decreases your fuel economy. With Teraflex low-range kits you do not lose your highway fuel economy or performance because the change affects only the low range gears.
Off-road Teraflex conversions extend clutch life by eliminating the need to feather or slip the clutch on difficult obstacles. |
