Replacement steel body kits and tubs are available for 1941-1986 Jeep vehicles including all CJ's, Jeep MB and Ford GPW, and the M38
Body tubs are completely assembled and primed
16 gauge steel is used on body tubs for all sides and tail panels
18 gauge steel is used on body tubs in the front and rear flooring, all mounting brackets, top cowl assembly, and wheel housing
Includes all major factory mounting locations, including channels for body mounting
Dash and shifter tunnels are left blank in some locations with varied OE locations
Body KITS include fenders, hood, windshield and tailgate

The design of the early CJ-5 was influenced by the M38A1. The CJ-5 was intended to replace the CJ-3B. 603,303 were produced between 1954-1983. In 1965 CJ-5 and CJ-6 featured a new motor, Buick V6 Dauntless. Kaiser sold to American Motors in 1970; AMC began using their inline six engines and offered a V8 engine. Special models included: Tuxedo Park Mark III(61-63), 462 (1969), Renegade Models (1970-1983)
